Repellent plants are those that are highly aromatic, in the offensive scent category for deer.  These are often perennial herbs, trees and shrubs.  For best control, remember some facts about several repellents and rotate them.  If you don’t’ have a problem yet with deer in your adeterrents.  Train deer to stay away before they find your delicious garden offerings.

1. 10 foot tall Fence
2. Hot Pepper Spray: 2Tbsp ground hot pepper, 6 drops of liquid detergent, 1 gallon warm water
3. Hair: human, dog, & cat
4. Blood meal & fish emulsion
5. Fox urine
6. Strong smelling deodorant soap bars hung in trees or skewered on stakes around the perimeter of beds
